Place the appliance on a at, heat-resistant surface.
2. Insert the exhaust lter (3) centrally between the heating elements (4).
3. Place the extractor hood (1) over the exhaust lter.

Place the two grill plates (5) on the frames of the appliance base (7) and the holders
above the heating elements.

Insert the 8 pans (6) into the raclette surface (10).

ATTENTION
Danger due to hot surface!
The surfaces of the device can become extremely hot.

Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device. Danger of burns!

Do not set or lay any items on the device.

The rating plate with the connection and performance data can be founded beneath the
device.

3 Operation and Handling

This chapter provides you with important information and notes on the operation and
basic settings of the appliance.
ATTENTION

Do not leave the device unattended while in use.

Caution: the appliance heats up immediately after being switched on. The device's
surfaces will also become hot; there is a danger of burns! Only touch the appliance
after starting at the control elements and the pan handles.

Warning: If the grill plate is cracked, switch o the appliance to avoid a possible elec-
tric shock.

3.1 Before rst use

Place the appliance on a stable surface.

PLEASE NOTE

IMPORTANT: When you use your wa e maker for the rst time there may be a slight
smell and some smoke. Therefore, operate the appliance for at least 20 minutes at
maximum level without food before rst use. Switch on the extractor hood and
open a window during this burn-in phase. Afterwards, clean the appliance and
accessories again.

Non-heat-resistant spatulas can cause damage. Always place the spatulas outside the
appliance during operation.
