8. Replacing Parts of the Drive Mechanism
Note: The replacement of the mechanical parts described below is
based on the assumption that the drive mechanism is already
dismantled (see page 1-6).
The drive mechanism is to be built in exclusively in the Eject
position. For this position all gear wheels, levers and the mode
switch S3500 as they are in Eject mode (Fig. 8.1 and 8.2).

8.1 Removing the Cassette Mechanism (0090)
– Undo 2 screws (6073, Fig. 8.3).
– Lift the back of the cassette mechanism (0090) by a small amount,
slide it backwards and remove it.
Note: When reassembling the cassette mechanism (0090) the
lever (60900) must be pressed towards the front. The
cassette mechanism (0090) is positioned correctly when
the two hooks A and the dowels B engage with the holes
C (Fig. 8.3).
