Possible cause
No power, discharged battery.
The appliance is overheated.
The line is tangled or stuck on
the spool.
The cutting mechanism is
blocked by the grass.
The line has not been fully
extended.
Solution to the problem
Check that the battery is properly
seated and that the battery is fully
charged.
Stop operation and wait at least
10 minutes.
Check for tangled or jammed line
on the spool.
If necessary, replace the cable
reel making sure the mechanism is
clean.
Check that the line is fully
extended. If not:
1) manually pull the line out or
stop and run the trimmer until the
line is pushed out into the line
cutter.
2) make smaller cuts as this
trimmer is designed for light duty
tasks.
3) make sure that the line is
completely stretched.
