in the vicinity of a working power tool must use personal protective equipment.
 Do not move a power tool while it is in motion. Accidental contact of the garment with
the working tool may cut the garment and come into contact with the operator's body.
 Clean the ventilation slots of the equipment regularly. The motor blower draws dust into
the housing and a large accumulation of metal dust can cause an electrical hazard.
 Do not use the power tool near flammable materials. Sparks can ignite them.
 You can only use the trimmer in good working order, perform the necessary operations
or contact your service personnel if necessary. We recommend that you use the
services of an authorized MURRAY service.
 Before each start-up, check that:

the device is assembled according to the instructions;

the cutting tool and the entire cutting unit (trimmer head, cutter housing) are in
good working order; check their mounting, damage and wear (recesses or cracks)
regularly;

safety devices (e.g. cutter guard, housing, handle, engine switch) are in good
working order.
 Before adjusting, cleaning, maintenance, switch off the appliance and remove the
battery.
 Do not mow when other people, especially children or animals, are nearby.
 Do not operate the damaged trimmer.
 Do not move the appliance with the engine running.
 Turn off the trimmer and remove the battery when:

leave the equipment unattended,

before adjustment,

before checking, cleaning or repairing the appliance,

after being hit by a foreign object,

in case of abnormal vibrations.
PREPARATION
 Always wear sturdy shoes and long pants when mowing, do not operate the appliance
with a bare foot or in sandals.
 Inspect the area where the machine will operate and remove any stones, branches,
wires, bones, and other foreign objects.
 In high grass, you can not see obstacles (eg stumps, roots), so before you start working
with the device, you should mark all obstacles hidden in the grass that cannot be
removed.
 Always check the cutting elements for wear or damage before use. Replace a worn or
damaged probe, inspect the tubing for damage.
 Before use and after fall or other impacts, inspect the trimmer to identify any significant
damage that may affect safety.
