User manual and warranty card
Do not allow the device to be used by children, adolescents up to 16 years of age and
people not acquainted with the device's operation manual.
WORKING AREA SAFETY
Ensure good lighting and order in the workplace. Cluttered and dark areas contribute
to accidents.
Do not use an electrically powered device in explosive environments such as flammable
liquids, gases or dust. The device may create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Children and bystanders should be kept away from places where electrically powered
devices are used. Distractions can cause lose of control of the device. Electrically
powered garden equipment should be left away from unauthorized persons.
The operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
the environment.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
extension cords with power tools that have a protective grounding conductor. Lack of
modifications to plugs and sockets reduces the risk of electric shock.
Avoid touching earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, heaters, central heating
radiators, and refrigerators. Touching earthed or grounded parts increases the risk of
electric shock.
Do not expose electrically powered devices to rain or wet conditions. Water entering
a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
The connection cables must not be strained. Never use the power cord to carry, pull or
pull electrically powered equipment from the outlet. Keep the power cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled power cords increase the
risk of electric shock.
If the electric tool is used outdoors, the connection cables should be extended with
extension cords intended for outdoor use. Use of such an extension cord reduces the risk
of electric shock.
Use a residual current device (RCD) as protection against electric shock. The use of an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock. The equipment should be powered through a residual
current device with a rated current not exceeding 30 mA.
Note: The term "Residual Current Device (RCD)" may be replaced by "Ground Fault Circuit
Breaker (GFCI)" or "Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB)".
Hold the electric tool by the insulated part of the housing, as during operation
the working part may damage the hidden electric cable or its own. If the tool comes into
contact with a live cord, it may electrically shock the operator.
Check the power cord before starting work. Do not work with the power cord or
extension cord frayed, cut, or otherwise damaged.
