WHAT THE BEEPS
• ONE BEEP:the toy is ready for use.
• TWO SUCCESSIVE BEEPS:the toy is ready for
use in radio control drive mode.
• ONE IO-SECOND CONTINUOUS
battery is completely flat and the toy cannot be
used. Charge or replace the battery.
• ONE 15-SECOND INTERMITTENT
engine is overheated. After this beep, the power
supply is restored and the vehicle will start
operating again.

33 •GEAR LEVER.The vehicle has 2 gears and the
reverse gear.VVARNING: when removed from
the packaging, t he vehicle only travels in first
gear and reverse.
ELECTRIC ACCELERATOR/BRAKE
When you take your foot off the pedal,the
brake starts to work automatically.
34 •To use the second gear, remove the screw in the
second gear lock and turn the gear lock to the
next position. Tighten the gear lock screw. All
the gears are now available.
35 •SEAT BELTS. To unfasten the seat belts, press the
button and pull.

REPLACING THE LR44 BATTERIES
36 • Remove the ring nut and cap from the centre of
the steering wheel.
37 •The horn works with 3 LR44 coin
located in the sound module. To replace them,
releasethe ring nut and the horn cover by
pushing the fixing tabs from under the steering
wheel. Remove the sound module
the screw on the battery compartment cover.
38 • Remove the flat batteries and replace them with
new ones of the same type, taking care to match
the correct polarity. Re-assemble all the
components.

39 • Remove the seat. Loosen the 2 screws
battery holder and remove it.
40 • Disconnect the battery's power supply plugs.
Remove the battery. Insert the new battery with
the battery holder.
41 •Tighten the two screws on the battery holder.
WARNING: the battery holder is not necessary
if you buy a Peg Perego 12V/ 12 Ah battery.
42 •Connect the plugs of the battery and the wiring
unit together. Lock the seat, positioning the
hook as shown above.

43 • Insert the battery charger plug into a domestic
power socket following the instructions
attached. Connect plug B and battery charger
plug C.
44 •Once charged, disconnect the battery charger
from the socket, and then disconnect plug C
from plug B.
45 •Fully insert plug A into plug B, until they click in
position. Insert and fasten the battery holder.
Always remember to close and fasten the seat
when you have finished.
