In the case of the R O N D O T H E R M the heat-storing bricks above the combustion
chamber are only fitted once installation at the final operation location is complete. To do
this, the cover together with the hole circle is removed. This has only been placed on the
unit and not screwed. Below this is the cover for the fireclay heat exchanger bricks. Once
the four screws on this cover have been removed, the cover can be lifted upwards.
Remove this top
steel cover and then
undo the screws on
the heat exchanger
chamber cover plate
and remove this
cover as well.
The heat-storing
bricks are now
placed in the
storage core
(which has now
been shown "cut
in two") as
follows.
The first heat-storing brick layer is
started using two bevelled bricks.
These bricks are now placed in the
rear of the stove so that the bevels
are facing downwards.
