Storage
Store the appliance in a dry place and protect it from excessive heat or direct sunlight.
The storage station with charging function provides space for the hand-held appliance with suction tube and
some accessories.
Cleaning and user maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains before cleaning or user
maintenance.
Never immerse the vacuum cleaner in water for cleaning and make sure that no
liquid gets into the motor unit.
Clean the appliance by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning objects
such as knives, hard spatulas and the like. These can damage the surface.
The accessories can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary.
Make sure that all parts, especially the filters, are completely dry before reassembling the vacuum cleaner
after cleaning.
Emptying the dust container
1. Empty the container at the latest when the max line is reached.
2. Hold the hand-held appliance over a waste bin and release the lock. The flap will open and the dirt will fall out
(see Fig. F).
3. Empty the container and, if necessary, wipe it out with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
4. Close the flap properly again.
Removing/cleaning the filter
NOTE!
Only tap the HEPA filter to remove dirt - do not clean it with water. If the appliance is used regularly, replace
the HEPA filter every 6 months.
1. Remove the entire filter by pressing the latches and removing the filter upwards from the hand-held appliance
(see Fig. G).
2. The HEPA filter is located in the upper part of the filter.
3. Remove the HEPA filter by turning the filter cover anti-clockwise and pulling it upwards. The HEPA filter can be
separated from the cover for easy cleaning or replacement.
4. Tap out the HEPA filter.
5. The pre-motor filter is located between the HEPA filter and the multi-cyclone filter. You can knock it out or clean it
under running water if necessary.
6. Clean the multi-cyclone filter with a brush or dry cloth. If necessary, rinse with clear water (see Fig. H).
7. Allow all filters to dry completely before reinserting them.
