5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

5.1. AC VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
Maximum input for AC Voltage measurements is
600Vrms. Do not take any voltage measurement
exceeding this limit in order not to risk electrical shock or
damaging the instrument
1. Select position VHz%
2. Insert the red cable into input terminal VHz%mACAP
and the black cable into input terminal COM.
3. Position the red lead and the black lead respectively in the
spots of the circuit to be measured (see Fig. 3). The display
shows the value of voltage.
4. If the display shows the message "OL", select a higher range.
5. Press the MODE/
display the values of frequency and duty cycle of input voltage.

5.2. DC VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT

Maximum input for DC Voltage measurements is 600V.
Do not take any voltage measurement exceeding this
limit in order not to risk electrical shock or damaging the
tester
1. Select position V
2. Insert the red cable into input terminal VHz%mACAP
and the black cable into input terminal COM.
3. Position the red lead and the black lead respectively in the
spots with positive and negative potential of the circuit to be
measured (see Fig. 4). The display shows the value of voltage.
4. If the display shows the message "OL", select a higher range.
5. When symbol "-" appears on the instrument
that voltage has the opposite direction with respect to the
connection in Fig. 4.
