• To bring the needles to the measurement
position, hammer the Impact Weight several
times against the bottom final stop (see figure
1).
Connect the Wöhler Moisture Meter and perform
the measurement.
Proceed as follows to pull out the needles after
the measurement:
• Grasp the Hammer Probe as described in
Chapter 4.1, and hammer the Impact Weight
several times against the top final stop (see
figure 1).
This way you can easily pull the needles out of the
wood without braking our deforming them.
WARNING!
When pulling out the needles take care that you
do not hold your chin our head above the Hammer
Probe. Otherwise the Hammer Probe may beat
against your head when it is pulled out of the
wood.
• In the Wöhler HF 550 select the measurement
mode "Logs" (Maine menu > logs).
