● When the probe is in multimeter or SMART test, connect the
probe auxiliary ground lead to the trailer light, and insert the
probe tip into the OBD socket to display the current voltage.
With this method you can check the function and direction of
the connector and trailer lights. If you find the trailer light
connection correctly, you can use the "Component Activation"
function to test whether the trailer light is working or not
working.
