The chain hoist is a device used to lift and lower loads

The chain hoist is designed for a slinging height (dis-

3.5 metres. Outside of this slinging height, the hand
chain must be shortened or lengthened accordingly.
The machine may only be used in the intended manner.
Any use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not
the manufacturer, is responsible for damages or inju-
ries of any type resulting from this.
Please note that our equipment was not designed with
the intention of use for commercial or industrial purpos-
es. We assume no guarantee if the device is used in
commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent
work.
5. Safety instructions
1.
The nominal load limit must not be exceeded, as
overloading can damage the chain hoist or reduce
its lifting capacity in the future.
2.
Do not use any electrical appliances to operate the
chain hoist. This chain hoist is designed for manu-
al operation only.
3.
Do not attempt to repair the load chain. If dam-
aged, the load chain may only be replaced by a
specialist. The load chain must be replaced with a
new chain of the same welded and hardened steel,
of the same size and the same strength.
4.
Please lubricate the load chain before use.
5.
The brake surfaces must not be lubricated. The
brake must be kept dry.
6.
Ensure that the load chain is not knotted. If there
are knots in the load chain, they must be untied
before use.
7.
Ensure that the load chain is hooked to the load
end pin before each use.
8.
Stand in the same position and at the same angle
to the drive wheel when pulling the hand chain.
Please do not pull at an angle. It is necessary to
take up a secure position.
9.
Do not lift the load above people. Do not allow any-
one to step under the load. If you are planning to lift
a load, please warn people in the surrounding area.
