  • Seite 10 – 10 – INHALATION 3.1 Funktionskontrolle Durchgängigkeit des Ventils Überprüfen Sie nach Erhalt der VORTEX, ob das Ventil im Mundstück durchgängig ist: • Lassen Sie Leitungswasser durch den Lippenansatz in das Mundstück laufen. Das Wasser sollte aus den seitlichen Öffnungen im Mund- stück wieder austreten.
  • Seite 11 – 11 – 3.2 Inhalation vorbereiten WARNUNG Da die Inhalierkammer der VORTEX nicht vollständig ge- schlossen ist, können Kleinteile hineingeraten, die beim In- halieren eingeatmet werden könnten (Erstickungsgefahr). Stellen Sie deshalb vor jeder Benutzung sicher, dass sich keine Fremdkörper in der VORTEX befinden.

  • Seite 13 – 13 – Verwendung mit Einhand-Bedienhilfe Für eine leichtere Bedienung der VORTEX ist in einigen Pro- dukt-Sets eine Einhand-Bedienhilfe enthalten. Da die Dosieraerosole in ihrer Form und Größe nicht ge- normt sind, kann es in einzelnen Fällen vorkommen, dass sich das Dosieraerosol nicht mit der Einhand-Bedienhilfe auslösen lässt.
  • Seite 14 Andernfalls kann die Therapie durch austreten- des Aerosol beeinträchtigt werden, z. B. durch eine Unter- dosierung. Für mögliche Nebenwirkungen durch austreten- des Aerosol lesen Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung des je- weiligen Medikaments. Bei Erwachsenen genügt ein Atemzug, um das Medikament aus der VORTEX einzuatmen.

Für die Durchführung der Desinfektion, die Dauer des Desinfektionsvorgangs sowie die erforderliche Wassermenge beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung des verwendeten Des- infektionsgerätes.

Therefore, it is imperative to make sure there are no foreign bodies inside the VORTEX before every use.

Since the shape and size of metered dose inhalers has not been standardised, it is possible in some cases that the metered dose inhaler cannot be actuated with the one- handed operation aid.
