6.9 Pressure tap piece
 Verify that the pressure tap piece is mounted at a point with unobstructed
flow or steady measuring conditions.
 Verify that the hole for the pressure tap piece is sufficiently large.
- Install a shut-off unit for the pressure tap.
6.10 Measuring line
The measuring line connects the pressure tap piece and the product.
 Verify that the inside diameter of the measuring line is sufficiently large to
help avoid clogging.
 Verify that the measuring line has a steady gradient.
- Provide a drain point at the lowest point in the case of gases and a vent
point at the highest point in the case of highly viscous liquids.
 In the case of gases and liquids containing solid particles, verify that a
separator is installed which can be separated from the system by means
of a shut-off unit during operation for emptying.
 Verify that the measuring line is installed in such a way that it can absorb
all loads and stresses caused by expansion, vibration or heat influences.
