Mounting
6.1
General information on mounting
1. Do not hold the housing of the product when mounting or dismounting it.
2. Use a suitable spanner to apply the tightening torque to the appropriate
areas at the connection piece.
6.1.1
Products with blow-out device
Verify that the blow-out device is not blocked.
Verify that the distance between the blow-out device and other objects
is at least 20 mm.
6.1.2
Products for wall mounting or panel mounting
Verify that the pressure connection piece is held with a suitable spanner
when you tighten the connection piece.
Verify that the product is not subjected to shocks during mounting.
Verify that the measured values are easy to read.
- Select the position in such a way as to avoid parallax errors when
reading the pressure gauge.
- In order to obtain a position of the product that allows for easy reading,
use a female/female connection or a union nut for threaded connec-
tions.
Verify that the operating temperature never exceeds or falls below the
permissible values.
- Account for the influences of possible convection or heat radiation.
A height difference between the pressure tap piece and the product
causes a shift of the initial value if the medium in the measuring line does
not have the same density as the ambient air.
