❖ You can also put starched clothes into the dryer. Select the programme 'iron
drying'. To remove residuals of starch from the drum, wipe the drum with a moist
cloth and dry it afterwards.
❖ To avoid static charge after drying use a fabric softener when washing the laundry
or a special softener suitable for dryers.
❖ Take your clothes out of the appliance when the drying procedure has ended.
❖ If some items are still a little bit wet after drying, dry them again for at least 30
minutes. This may be required for some complex items (e.g. collars or bags).
❖ Button up pillowcases, close zippers, hooks and press studs. Tie all belts and long
ribbons together to prevent the laundry from tangling. Close zippers, button up
duvet covers and tie ties or ribbons together (e.g. from aprons). Fold items with
two layers from inside to outside (e.g. cotton coated anoraks should have the
cotton coated side on the outside) These materials dry better this way.
