8. The construction dryer must not be covered dur-
ing operation, nor should you place any objects,
items of clothing or similar on the appliance.
9. Keep foreign objects away from the air inlet and
outlet openings.
10. It must be placed on a completely stable surface.
11. Turning and tilting or changing location during op-
eration is prohibited.
12. Do not position the device near heat sources, e.g.
radiators, radiant heaters, etc.
13. Please do not use the appliance in the vicinity of
chemicals or acids, as these can damage the col-
lection bucket or the entire appliance.
14. Please disconnect the device from the power sup-
ply if you do not intend to use it for a longer period
of time. Or if you want to clean the appliance.
15. If you would like to use a permanent drainage sys-
tem, please ensure that the hose is not kinked and
that the water can flow through it unhindered. In
the event of very low outside temperatures or con-
ditions in which water could freeze, you should re-
frain from permanent drainage.
16. Please protect the device from splashing water.
17. Please only use an earthed standard socket with
a 220-240V AC connection.
18. This device can be used by children from 8 years
of age as well as by persons with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of
experience or knowledge, if they are supervised
or if they have been trained in the safe use of the
device and understand the resultant hazards.
Children may not play with the device. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children unsupervised.
19. Empty the water tank before transport to avoid
spillages.
20. If problems occur during operation of the appli-
ance, e.g. burning odour, disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply.
Safety instructions Service/maintenance
1. Only use original parts for maintenance and ac-
cessories.
2. Always visually check the appliance for wear or
damage before use. Replace worn or damaged
parts for safety reasons. Tighten all nuts, bolts
and screws to ensure that the equipment is in safe
operating condition.

Improper maintenance or failure to observe or cor-
rect a problem can become a source of danger during
operation. Only operate regularly and properly main-
tained machines. This is the only way you can be sure
that you are operating your product safely, economi-
cally and trouble-free.
Do not clean, maintain, adjust or repair the prod-
uct while it is running. Moving parts can cause
serious injuries.
Do not use petrol or other flammable solvents to
clean machine parts.
Repairs may only be carried out by specialists with
the appropriate knowledge of the product.
If the mains connection cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their service depart-
ment or a similarly qualified person to avoid dangers.
Residual risks
Even when used as intended, there may still be resid-
ual risks due to the design determined by the intend-
ed use, despite compliance with all relevant safety
regulations. Residual risks can be minimised if the
"Safety Instructions" and the "Intended Use" together
with the operating manual as a whole are observed.
Thoughtfulness and caution reduce the risk of per-
sonal injury and damage.
• Hazard due to electrical power, with the use of im-
proper electrical connection cables.
• Touching live parts when electrical components are
open.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.

passive medical implants under certain circumstances.
In order to prevent the danger of serious or deadly in-
juries, we recommend that persons with medical im-
plants consult with their physician and the manufacturer
of the medical implant prior to operating the device.
