Operating principle
The product works according to the condensation
principle. The room air is drawn in through a filter and
a cooling element, where the water vapours in the
air condense into water droplets. The water droplets
then run into a condensation tray and further into
the water tank, while the dried cold air is channelled
through the product's condenser and blown back into
the room once heated. The temperature of the dis-
charged air is approx. 2-5°C above room tempera-
ture. This heat gain is generated by the energy sup-
plied to the compressor and fan, as well as the heat
released when the water vapour condenses. By con-
stantly circulating the room air through the appliance,
the relative humidity of the air is gradually lowered,
allowing the room to dry out quickly and gently.
The water vapours in the air move easily and unhin-
dered through the air. It is therefore important to "seal"
the room as well as possible, i.e. doors and windows
must be kept closed and entry and exit from the room
must be limited as much as possible. Otherwise, the
product's drying effect will be reduced significantly.
5. Safety instructions
We have marked points in the operating instructions
that impact your safety with this symbol: m
Furthermore, the operating manual contains other
important text sections that are marked with the word
"ATTENTION!".
m Attention!
When using equipment, several safety warnings must
be observed to prevent injuries and damage. For this
reason, please carefully read this operating manual /
safety instructions.
If you hand the device over to another person, please
hand over this operating manual / safety instructions
as well. We accept no liability for accidents or dam-
age that occur due to a failure to observe this manual
and the safety instructions.
m DANGER
A failure to observe these instructions poses an ex-
treme danger of death or the risk of life-threatening
injuries.
m WARNING
A failure to observe these instructions poses a dan-
ger of death or the risk of serious injuries.
m CAUTION
A failure to observe these instructions poses a minor
to moderate danger of injury.
m Attention
A failure to observe these results in safety no longer
being guaranteed.
m NOTE
A failure to observe these instructions poses a risk of
damage to the engine or other property.
General power tool safety warnings
m WARNING! Read all safety information and
instructions. Failure to observe safety information
and instructions can result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injuries.
Save all warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.
The term "electrical tool" used in the safety instruc-
tions refers to mains-powered electrical tools (with
a mains cable) and battery-powered electrical tools
(without a mains cable).
1) Work area safety
a) Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Clut-
tered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explo-
sive atmospheres, such as in the pres-
ence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while op-
erating a power tool. Distractions may cause
you to lose control of the device.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the out-
let. Never modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or ground-
ed surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet con-
ditions. Water entering a power tool will increase
the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not use the cable for another purpose, for
example, carrying or hanging the power tool
or pulling the plug out of the socket. Keep
the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving device parts.
