HAZARDS: Ensure that explosive or
flammable substances, such as petrol
or solvents cannot be ignited when
you are using the device! Keep
sources of ignition (e.g. open fire, lit
cigars, cigarettes or electric sparks)
away from the starter batteries.
DANGER OF CAUSTIC
BURNS:
Protect your eyes and skin from caus-
tic burns from the acid (sulphuric
acid) when it comes into contact with
the battery! Do not look directly at the
battery when it is connected and use
acid-resistant safety goggles, clothing
and gloves! If your eyes or skin have
