Select the desired position using the particle
size regulator B2.4. By turning the regulator
clockwise, the selector switch (B2.4.c) moves to
close the opening, which opens by turning the
regulator anti-clockwise.
To use the ampoule without selector switch,
hold the ampoule body firmly and with the oth-
er hand turn the complete particle size regulator
(B2.4) clockwise until it is ejected from the upper
part (B2.3).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before each use, wash your hands thoroughly and perform the operations as described in the
section "HYGIENE PREPARATION". During application, it is recommended to adequately protect
oneself from drips. This nebuliser is suitable for the administration of medicinal substances
(solutions and suspensions), for which aerosol administration is envisaged; such substances
must in any case be prescribed by a doctor. In the case of substances that are too dense, dilution
with suitable saline solution may be necessary, as prescribed by a doctor.
Pour the medicine prescribed by the doctor into the lower part (B2.1). Insert the upper
1.
part (B2.4+B2.3+B2.2) of the ampoule into the lower part (B2.1), close the ampoule by
turning the upper part (B2.3) clockwise.
2. Connect the accessories as indicated in the "Connection Diagram" on the cover (the opposite end to
the one to be connected to the nebuliser must be connected to the compressor unit or centralised
compressed air system).
3. Sit comfortably while holding the nebuliser in your hand, place the mouthpiece to your mouth or use
a nasal piece (if provided) or mask. If you use the mask accessory,
place it on your face as shown in the figure (with or without the
use of the elastic band).
4. Start the air flow source, breathe in and out deeply. After breath-
ing in, it is recommended to hold your breath for a moment so
that the inhaled aerosol droplets can settle. Then exhale slowly.
5. When the application is finished, switch off the device and dis-
connect it from the mains.
ATTENTION: If, after the therapy session, an obvious deposit of
moisture forms inside the tube (B1), detach the tube from the nebu-
liser and dry it with the ventilation of the air flow source; this action
prevents possible mould growth inside the tube.
If the connection between the air flow source and the connection tube is difficult, act on the end of it by
simultaneously rotating and inserting it, and rotate and extract it to remove it.
