T-10 it TUNER
Alpine's premier tuner — utilizes a number of innovations to ensure stable, noise-free
FM reception in both strong and weak signal areas. A double balanced mixer
increases headroom. Dual gate MOSFETs increase signal-to-noise performance by
reducing intermodulation distortion. The high-cut, soft-mute and blend circuits
combine to provide optimum reception of weak signals. An engine noise suppressor
circuit eliminates pulse noise from the car's ignition system, as well as from other
cars.
@ GT MECHANISM
This Alpine electronic mechanism ensures stable tape speed, reduces wow & flutter
and provides extended high frequencies up to 16 kHz.
@ QUICK RELEASE BRACKET (Q.R.B.)
Alpine's exclusive ORB design allows for easy removal of the 7279MS, while still
maintaining memory backup. The 7279MS may then be hidden elsewhere in the car
or carried with the owner for theft prevention. This bracket also provides for easy re-
installation of the unit.

FADER CONTROL
To shift the balance of sound to the front or rear speakers. When using front speakers
only, this control must be left fully counterclockwise.
SELECTABLE FADER
This system allows you to select either the pre-amp or power amp fader mode. The
pre-amp fader controls the signal level in the pre-amp stage for two amplifiers, and the
power amp fader balances the front and rear speaker sound in a four-speaker system.
