5 SPEED ALARM lamp
Lights when the speed of the input signal is too fast.
6 Encoder signal input connector
This connector is used for encoder signal input.

7 Output connector

This connector is used to input power and to output each signal.

3-2. Switches

The MJ620 has two switches, mode switches 1 and 2, which can be operated from the top of
the unit.
The mode switches are used to set the reference point, number of divisions (number of
interpolations), and other functions.
MODE switches 1-1 and 1-2 (reference point position 1 and 2 switches)
This interpolator outputs a reference point that is in sync with the A/B phases. However, it
is necessary to set the phase relationship between the reference point gate signal that is input
and the encoder signal beforehand.
The phase relationship is set by these two switches. For more information, see the section
"3-4. Using the reference point."
MODE switch 1-3 (reference point adjustment mode switch)
This switch is used to switch between interpolation mode and reference point adjustment
mode. Normally, this switch is set to OFF. For more information, see the section "3-4. Using
the reference point."
MODE switch 1-4 (reference point mode switch)
This switch is used to change the output width of the reference point. For more information,
see the section "3-4-2. Setting the reference point output signal width."
