Do not allow children to touch the unit body or the power cord
during operation.
The unit is not intended to be used by people with physical,
sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or by per-
sons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under the
supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if
they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the
unit as a toy.
Do not use the unit if the coffee machine body, the power cord
or the power plug is damaged.
In order to avoid liquid getting on the electrical connector, in
the event of any malfunction or if the unit has been dropped,
unplug the unit from the mains and contact any authorized
service center.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, a maintenance service, or similar qualified per-
sonnel to avoid potential injury.
To avoid potential injury, do not attempt to repair the unit
yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit
and apply to any authorized service center from the contact
address list given in the warranty certificate and on the web-
site www.rondell.ru.
Transport the unit in the original packaging only.
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and
disabled persons.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. COM-
MERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND
WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Read this manual before using the unit for the first time and
keep it for the entire time you use the coffee machine.
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature
keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before
switching on.
– Take the coffee machine out of its packaging and remove the
packaging materials.
– Check the unit integrity; do not use the unit in case of damage.
– Make sure that the operating voltage of the coffee machine
corresponds to the mains voltage.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC system and 50 or
60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need any additional set-
tings for operating with the required nominal frequency.
– Before using the coffee machine for the first time, open the left
door (5), remove the water tank (4), wash it with warm water
and neutral detergent and dry it.
– Open the lid (19) and wipe the inside of the coffee bean con-
tainer (10) with a slightly damp soft cloth, then wipe it dry.
– Make sure that the drip tray (1) is fully inserted into the bottom
of the coffee machine.
– Open the right door (11) and make sure that the brewing unit
(12), the used coffee grounds container (13) are installed
correctly.

BEFORE USING THE UNIT

– Fill the container (4) with clean water without exceeding the
«MAX» mark, and put it back into the coffee machine (fig. 1).
Notes: The container (4) can only be filled with fresh clean water
of room temperature. Do not fill it with hot or ice water and milk.
Failure to comply with this requirement will cause the tank to
crack and damage the unit.
The maximum level mark «MAX» is located on the front wall of
the water tank (4).
When installing/removing the water tank, always grasp the spe-
cial notch on the bottom of the tank. Do not hold the tank by its
top. This can cause damage to it, falling and water spilling.
ATTENTION! Change the water in the water tank daily! Water that
has been in the water tank for a long time may contain microor-
ganisms and pose a risk to your health.
You can make coffee drinks from whole roasted coffee beans that
the coffee machine grinds for each cup of coffee. As an alter-
native, you can make coffee drinks from already ground coffee,
see the «Making coffee drinks from ground coffee» section.
Notes: Fill the container with only as many coffee beans as you
need for a few days. Coffee loses its aroma when exposed to air.
– Put coffee beans (more than 30 g) into the coffee bean con-
tainer (10) (fig. 2) and close the lid (19).
ATTENTION! Only roasted coffee beans can be put into the cof-
fee bean container (10). Please do not add water, ground coffee,
instant coffee, coffee beans mixed with solids, processed cof-
fee beans containing sugar or caramel, never use coffee beans
after they were stored in the freezer or it will damage the coffee
grinder blades.

UNIT OPERATION

Switching the coffee machine on
– Plug the unit into the mains (fig. 3).
– Set the power switch button (17) located on the back of the
unit to the «I» position (fig. 4).
– After a few seconds you will hear 2 short beeps and the dis-
play (7) will show the splash screen (fig. 5), then you will hear
2 short beeps and the coffee machine will go into standby
mode. The backlight of the power button (16) will start flashing
slowly. The «Rondell» logo will appear on the additional display
(21) of the brewing unit.
