Function of microwaves:
The device generates electromagnetic waves that cause the molecules in the food, mainly water
molecules, to vibrate strongly. These vibrations generate heat. Food with a high liquid content
therefore heats up more quickly than relatively dry food. The heating occurs particularly gently
directly in the food. The dishes are only heated indirectly by the food.
Never operate the device without contents. This could damage the device.

- When heating drinks in a microwave, the boiling point may be delayed. The steam bubbles
that usually appear do not appear, even though the boiling point has already been reached.
Therefore, special care must be taken when handling the container, e.g. when removing it
from the device.
This boiling delay can be reduced by placing a temperature-resistant glass rod in the liquid
during heating.
- Do not attempt to fry food in the microwave, hot oil could damage the microwave and cause
burns.
- Raw eggs with shells or whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens
as they may burst even after microwave heating has finished.
- Caution: Liquids or other foods must not be heated in sealed containers as they can easily
burst.
- The contents of baby bottles and jars of baby food must be shaken or stirred to ensure an
even temperature distribution.
The temperature must then be checked before consumption to avoid burns!
- When heating or cooking food in flammable materials such as plastic or paper containers,
there is a risk that the material will catch fire. Food can also dry out and catch fire if the
appliance is left on for too long. Fats or oils can also catch fire. The appliance must therefore
be monitored continuously when it is switched on. Flammable liquids, eg concentrated
alcohol, must not be heated.
- If smoke is detected, keep the door closed to extinguish any flames. Immediately switch off
the appliance and unplug it.
- Use suitable potholders when removing food from the cooking compartment. The dishes
will also get hot when using the microwave, as the hot food will heat up the dishes.
- Food thermometers are not suitable for microwave use unless they are specifically
recommended for this purpose.
- Do not cook food for too long.
- Do not use the microwave oven to store food or other items.
- The microwave oven is intended exclusively for defrosting, heating and cooking food or
drinks. If the appliance is operated incorrectly or used for purposes other than those
intended, no liability can be accepted for any damage that may occur.
