SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS & INSTRUCTION MANUAL
- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the
resulting hazards.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children -
unless they are older than 8 years and are supervised.
- Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the device and
the connecting cable.
- After unpacking, check the device for damage. If the device or the power
cable is damaged, do not use it and contact your specialist dealer
immediately.
- It is not recommended to use this appliance with extension cables or
multiple sockets. If this is unavoidable, always ensure that the cable used
is a 3-core, earthed cable that complies with the prescribed safety -
regulations and has the necessary test marks.
- Long cables can become a tripping hazard and a danger for children, so
they should be avoided.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord, otherwise a short circuit may
occur.
Do not crush the power cord or place other objects on it.
Do not pull on the cable too hard.
Do not bend the cable too much or tie knots in it.
Do not cut the cable.
When unplugging the appliance, never pull on the power cord; always
grasp the plug.
- If the power cable is damaged, the device must not be operated. Have
the cable replaced by an authorized specialist workshop.
- Do not let the power cord hang down from the work surface.
- Never touch the device or the power cord with wet or damp hands.
- Do not touch the tips of the plug when unplugging the device.
- Always unplug the power cord
