- Drive shaft: the two openings (7) should be
clear. Please also refer to the following pages
on automatic rinsing and disassembly of the
pump.
- Never use hard objects to remove the dirt, but
rather a brush or soft cloth with detergent and/
or vinegar. Never forget to rinse with water !
Automatic rinsing
On account of the high delivery volume of the
pump, unfavourable biotope conditions may
cause the suction housing to become clogged
fast. In order to clean the water inlet (1) without
having to remove the pump completely, it is
possible to carry out an automatic rinsing
process. For this purpose set the pump to 100
per cent output, and use your hand to close up
the water outlet (2) for approx. 10 seconds. Due
to the turbulences produced, all lose dirt
particles, which have become deposited in the
suction housing, are hurled out and are
removed by the mechanical filter system.
We recommend this automatic rinsing process,
which, however, cannot replace a cleaning of
the pump.

- N'utilisez jamais d'objets tranchants pour déta-
cher les dépôts calcaires mais préférez les
brosses, les pinceaux ou un chiffon doux en
s'aidant de vinaigre blanc. N'oubliez pas de
rincer la pompe à l'eau claire.
Nettoyage automatique
En raison des grandes quantités d'eau véhicu-
lées par la pompe, une obstruction prématurée
des grilles d'aspiration pourrait survenir en cas
de conditions défavorables dans le biotope.
Afin de nettoyer les entrées d'eau (1) sans
démonter la pompe, nous conseillons une uti-
lisation de la fonction de nettoyage automa-
tique. Pour cela, réglez la pompe à 100% de sa
puissance et fermez la sortie d'eau (2) à l'aide
de la main et durant env. 10 sec. Les turbu-
lences internes auront pour effet de centrifuger
et d'expulser les saletés adhérant à la grille
d'aspiration, et qui seront ensuite prises en
charge par la filtration mécanique rapide.
