Wasserspiegels verlegt werden, zur Pumpe
hin leicht ansteigen und keine scharfen
Krümmungen enthalten. Werden
Übergangsstücke benötigt, müssen diese
exzentrisch sein, um Luftsäcke zu
vermeiden.
Die Einregulierung der Fördermenge darf auf
keinen Fall mit dem Absperrschieber in der
Saugleitung geschehen.
Vor dem Betrieb sind Saugleitung und
Pumpe mit dem Fördermedium zu füllen.
b)
Zulaufleitung
Die Zulaufleitung ist mit einem
Absperrschieber auszuführen, um das
Ausbauen der Pumpe zu ermöglichen. Die
Leitung soll zur Pumpe hin leicht fallend
verlegt werden.

Mindestüberdeckung
Flüssigkeitsspiegel

Leitungsgestaltung und Flüssigkeitsvorrat
müssen nach den Regeln des
Rohrleitungsbaues so gestaltet werden, daß
die Pumpe keine Luft ansaugen kann. Durch
einen Trockenlauf der Pumpe können
erhebliche Schäden an Pumpe und
Abdichtung entstehen.
d)
Druckleitung

Zwischen Pumpe und Druckleitung ist ein
Schieber und eine Rückschlagklappe
einzubauen. Falls notwendig, ermöglicht der
Schieber das Einstellen eines bestimmten
Verhältnisses zwischen Fördermenge und
Förderhöhe, während durch die
Rückschlagklappe Wasserschläge beim
Ausschalten der Pumpe vermieden werden.
5.2.10 Druckproben

Die Rohrleitungen sollten ohne Pumpe
abgepreßt werden, da sonst die Pumpe
beschädigt werden kann. Die
zusammengebaute Pumpe wird werksseitig
auf Dichtheit überprüft.
5.2.11 Fluidanschlüsse für Hilfseinrichtungen
werden an den entsprechend ausgeführten
Pumpen mit Schildern, Aufklebern,
gekennzeichnet.

reducing fittings are to be used. On no
account the capacity must be regulated by
means of the gate valve in the suction line.
Before taking the pump into operation, the
suction pipe and pump must be filled with
liquid.
b)
Feed pipe
The feed pipe is to be fitted with a gate valve
in order to render possible dismantling of the
pump. The conduit is to be installed in such a
way that it decreases in height towards the
pump.

Minimum liquid level

The construction of the conduits and the
liquid supplies are to be designed in
accordance with the rules of the conduit
manufacturers in such a way that the pump
can not suck in any air. A dry-run may cause
considerable damage to the pump and the
seal.
d) Pressure pipe
Ã
The pressure pipe is to be fitted with a gate
valve and a non-return valve. The gate valve
renders possible to set a special flow rate.
The non-return valve avoides a water
hammer at the the occasion of switching off
the pump.
5.2.10 Pressure tests
Ã
The conduits must be pressure tested
without the pump. Otherwise the pump may
be damaged. The mounted pump has been
tested in the factory.
5.2.11 Fluid connections for auxilliary equipment
are marked on the accordingly constructed
pumps by signs, stick-on labels, etc (see item
4.9.4).
