Your Albrecht AE 5290 XLS corresponds to the latest European CB standards (2012). As a
unique feature, it has a country switch which allows selecting the operation mode according
to the country, where you intend to use the radio. Please make sure that you use the country
switching procedure for the correct setting after first installation!
Your new Albrecht CB Radio AE 5290 XLS, developed and manufactured in accordance with
the latest new European CB regulations, offers you:
• 40 channels FM only with 4 Watt
• 80 channels FM / 4 Watt / 80 AM receive /40 channels AM transmit / 4 Watt or
• 40 channels FM / 4 Watt / 40 channels AM 4 Watts according to EU standard or
• 40 channels FM / 4 Watt / 40 channels AM / 4 Watt
• Standard manually adjustable Squelch + Automatic-Squelch ASQ
• Channel selection knob on the radio set and UP/DOWN buttons on the
microphone
• 5 freely programmable memory positions for stored stations
• Channel scan up and down the frequencies or over the memory channels
• Multifunction LCD display with 2 colour switching (switch on rear side)
• 6-pin microphone socket, suitable for amplifier microphones, selective calling
systems, data transmission accessories or PC sound card connection
• Socket for external S-meter
• Socket for external loudspeaker
