The procedure is the same like your first setting.
Before you install your new CB radio, you should select the country setting according to the
local authority requirements. Because this radio is used in most cases by truck drivers in
central and Western Europe, it comes programmed with the factory setting to 40/40
channels. If you are in a country where this setting should not be allowed, please use the
Mode 03 on the table, 40 FM. Please consult our Radio Passport (see the chapter "Legal
Issues" later in this manual).The new European CB rules are just in an implementation
phase- it will take some time until all countries will have the new regulations adopted. For a
certain time, some countries will still require 1 W power on AM until regulations are updated.

charges in this switch position in Germany. Only in certain border
regions use of this radio as base station, transmitting on channels 41 to
80 in FM, is not allowed or you need a special licence for this
application.
In Czech Republic 80/40 switch position is allowed, in Slowakia it is
announced to allow AM again, but not yet published. Until publishing
the new rules there, please use only FM on CH 1-40 and CH 70-80

applied in all countries. In Italy and Spain inhabitants still need to have
