AWG | Fittings | Adjustable foam nozzles S2 / M2 and S4 / M4
If the device is switched to 'medium expansion foam', four outer swirlers
functioning as turbulence sources cause the foam agent/water mixture
with the aspirated air to rotate. The mixture flows through the nozzle bores,
rips open and reaches the conversion screen evenly.
If the device is switched to 'low expansion foam', the foam agent/water
mixture reaches the inner tube through four smooth nozzle bores, where it
is swirled with the aspirated air by turbulence in the tube and a jet-breaker
screw. The flow does not pass through the conversion screen.
The supply of the foam agent/water mixture is regulated by opening and
closing the ball valve.
The adjustable foam nozzles are equipped as standard with a pressure
gauge and a dirt trap sieve.
