Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if damaged. Keep hands dry,
clean and free from oil and grease.
• Disconnect tools.
When not in use, before servicing and when changing accessories such as blades,
bits and cutters, disconnect tools from the power supply.
• Remove adjusting keys and wrenches.
From the habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed
from the tool before turning it on.
• Avoid unintentional starting.
Ensure switch is in "off" position when plugging in.
• Use outdoor extension leads.
When tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor use
and so marked.
• Stay alert.
Watch what you are doing, use common sense and do not operate the tool when
you are tired.
• Check damaged parts.
Before further use of tool, it should be carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment of
moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any other
conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged
should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service centre unless
otherwise indicated in this instruction manual. Have defective switches replaced
by an authorized service centre. Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on and
off.

This electric tool complies with the relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be
carried out by qualified persons using original spare parts, otherwise this may
result in considerable danger to the user.

Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and
other construction activities contains chemicals known to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples
of these chemicals are:

- lead from lead-based paints,
- crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry
products, and
- arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you
do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals:
work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety
equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to
filter out microscopic particles.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR TABLE SAWS
• Wear eye protection.
• Wear suitable personal protective equipment when necessary, this could include:
- hearing protection to reduce the risk of induced hearing loss,
- respiratory protection to reduce the risk of inhalation of harmful dust,
- Saw blades shall be carried in a holder whenever practicable;
• Do not use the tool in presence of flammable liquids or gases.
• NEVER use the tool with an abrasive cut-off wheel installed.
• Check the blade carefully for cracks or damage before operation. Replace cracked
or damaged blade immediately. Do not use saw blades which are damaged or
deformed.
• WARNING: Use only saw blades recommended by the manufacturer and which
conform to EN847-1, and observe that the riving knife must not be thicker than
the width of the cut by the saw blade and not thinner than the body of the blade.
When changing the saw blade beware that the width of the groove cut of the saw
blades shall not be less than and the thickness of the body of the saw blade shall
not be more than the thickness of the riving knife.
• Always use accessories recommended in this manual. Use of improper accessories
such as abrasive cut-off wheels may cause an injury.
