Residual risks
Even if properly operating and
handling this electric tool, some
residual risks will remain. Due to its
construction and build, this electric
tool may present the following haz-
ards:
a) Cuts
b) Ear damage if working without
ear protection.
c) Damage to your health caused
by swinging your hands and
arms when operating the appli-
ance for longer periods of time
or if the unit is not held or main-
tained properly.

under certain circumstances,
may impair the functionality
of active or passive medical
implants. To reduce the risk
of serious or lethal injuries,
we recommend that per-
sons with medical implants
consult their doctor and the
manufacturer of their medical
implant before operating the
machine.

Assembling instructions
Remove the rechargeable bat-
tery from the device before
assembly. Insert the recharge-
able battery only once the de-
vice is completely assembled.

Connecting the shaft
tubes
1. Loosen the shaft tube mounting screw
(23) on the upper shaft tube (3).
2. Remove the protective cap from the
lower shaft tube (6).
3. Push the lock (24) and slide the lower
shaft tube (6) as far as it goes into the
upper shaft tube (3).
4. Turn the lower shaft tube (6) with a
gentle rotating movement until the lock
(24) clicks into place in the bore on the
upper shaft tube (3).
5. Tighten the shaft tube mounting screw
(23) back into place by hand.
Before you start the device, make
sure that the lower shaft tube is firm-
ly and securely in place and located in the
correct position.
