Displaying the atmospheric pressuretrend for the past 8 hours
Repeatedlypressingthe "HISTORY"(15) button displaysthe averageatmospheric pressurefor the past8
hoursor the current atmosphericpressure
The hour (5) is displayedto the left of the atmosphericpressuredisplay (4) :

Atmospheric pressure trend display
The atmosphericpressuretrend display (2) is at thetop left of the display The representationof the arrows
changesdependingon the trend for the atmosphericpressuremeasured:

Decreasingatmosphericpressure(usual y a sign of worse weather ahead)
Weatherforecast symbols
The weatherforecastfunctionis basedon theobservationof the atmosphericpressuretrendduringthe past
few hours. Based on these values,a weatherforecast for the next 12 - 24 hoursis estimated. An accuracy
of up to 70%is thusachieved.
After commissioning, the weather station requires about 24 hours to take the first measurementsof the
atmosphericpressureand calculatea weatherforecast based on them
n areas where thereare frequent rapid changesin air pressure(e g., mountains), ess accurate predictions
are obtainedthan in areaswith slow changes
For example, the changefrom "sunny"to "precipitation"does notnecessarilymeanit will rain but it indicates
that theweather will changefor the worse
Sunny
Light cloud
If"sunny/'is displayedat night, this meansa starlit night.
Select the unit for the atmospheric pressure and set altitude.
For unit for the atmospheric pressure, can be toggled between the atmospheric pressure unit "mb/hPa"
(millibar/hectopasca ) and "inHg"(inches mercurycolumn). Moreover,the altitude at the weather station's
installationsite can be entered, so the atmosphericpressurevalue can be correctly convertedto the refer-
ence value at sea level
Proceed as follows:
• Pressthe "MODE"button (19) brieflytwice Insteadof the atmosphericpressuredisplay, the current alti-
tudein metres(indicator " M")or feet(indicator ' FEET")isnowdisplayed Whenstarting forthefirsttime,
the altitude is displayedas "O"
• Briefly pressthe"SET"(18)button toactivate thesetting mode.
• Press the"V" (15)or "A" (16)button to togglebetween theatmospheric p ressure unit"mb/hPa" ( millibar/
)
hectopascal
and"inHg" (inches mercury column). Simultaneously, italsotoggles between thealtitude unit
"M"(metre) and"FEET" ( foot)
• Briefly press the "SET" (18) button, the altitude (default setting when startingfor the first time "O M" or
"0 FEET")now flashes on the display
• You can now set the altitudefor the weatherstation by pressingthe "V" (15)or "A" (16)button (keepthe
buttonpressed longerfor quick setting)
You can find the altitude where you live from, for example, maps orfrom the Internet
• By pressingthe 'SET" (18)button onceagain, the setting can be savedand the setting modeexited.
• Wait for abouta minute, thedisplay resetsto the current atmosphericpressurevalue, the weatherstation
is now n the normal operatingmode.
