Intended
use
1.1
Proper use
This product is intended for the partial softening of drinking and service
water. It is also designed to prevent malfunction and damage caused by
calcification
in water pipes and the connected fittings, devices, boilers
and other equipment.
The performance specifications of the product must match the expected
usage conditions.

Ifthe product is intended for a commercial application, a consultant from
the manufacturer must conduct a test and issue an approval.

The BWT Perla product range Duplex includes various duplex water
softeners based on ion exchange. The products are filled with organic
ion exchange material.
2.1
Adaptive parallel operation via two columns allows for maximum soft

water availability and minimises stagnation in the columns.
