3. Release the parking brake on the caravan. Observe the maximum permissible gradient!
4. To move the caravan, move the joystick slowly in the desired direction
In area 1, the caravan moves forwards. You can control the speed and the direction steplessly
with the joystick.
In area 2, the caravan moves backwards.
In the left-hand and right-hand positions (3 and 4), the caravan turns on the spot in the specified
direction
If you release the joystick, the drives stop immediately and brake the caravan.
5. When the caravan has reached the desired position, apply the handbrake of the caravan.
6. Disengage the drives from the wheels.
Do not park the caravan with its axles stressed/locked up.
After performing tight cornering manoeuvres or pivoting on the spot, move the caravan
in a straight line forwards or backwards for at least 1 metre.
7. Hold down the buttons (d and e) until the LEDs on the disengage buttons start to flashand the ope-
rating state LED lights up continuously. Only then are the drives completely retracted.
8. Check that both drives are correctly disengaged.
9. Switch off the remote control at the main switch (b).
Disengaging the drives from the wheels
CAUTION!
Risk of accident due to trailer rolling away!
Always apply the handbrake of the caravan before starting to disengage the drives.
The numbers in brackets refer in this section to Fig. 2.
1. 1. Press and hold both Reset buttons (d and e) until their LEDs start to flash.
The process is activated; you can now release the buttons.
The drives retract away from the wheels. If both LED's light up continuously, the drives are fully
retracted.
2. Wait until the operating state LED also flashes.
The drives are safely switched off only when the operating state LED flashes, and this will not
lead to a system lock.
3. Switch off the remote control at the ON/OFF switch (b) located on the side.
4. Check that both drives are correctly disengaged.
If the drives were not completely disengaged (radio contact interrupted or remote control swit-
ched off too soon), the following steps must be carried out:
Hold the remote control against the enabling switch while pressing the Reset buttons (d
and e).
Now perform the steps under Disengaging the drives from the wheels again.
