Disposal

Electronic products are raw material and do not belong in the household waste.
When the device has reached the end of its service life, please dispose of it, accor-
ding to the current statutory requirements, at your local collecting site. Disposal in the
domestic waste is not permitted!
Disposal of used batteries/accumulators
As an end user you are legally obligated (Battery regulation) to dispose of exhau-
sted batteries and rechargeable batteries properly; it is not permitted to dispose of
used batteries/rechargeable batteries in the domestic refuse!
Batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked with the
shown symbols indicating that they must not be disposed of in the household waste. The
symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb
= Lead. You can return flat batteries / accumulators free of charge to the collection
points in your community, our branches or anywhere else where batteries or accumu-
lators are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and make your contribution to the
protection of the environment.

Troubleshooting

In purchasing the DMM, you have acquired a product which has been designed to the state of the art
and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
For this reason, the following is a description of how you can eliminate possible malfunctions yourself.
Always adhere to the safety instructions!

Possible cause
Is the battery dead?
Is a wrong measuring function
active?
Were the wrong
measuring sockets used?
Is the HOLD function activated? Press the button "HOLD" to
(display "HOLD").
Remedy
Check the status.
Replace the battery
Check the display
and poss. switch the function.
Check the measuring inputs.
deactivate this function.
