Connecting chinch sockets

Only use suitable shielded chinch leads to connect the inputs. Use
of different cables may cause interference.
The chinch inputs must only be connected to signal sources that
have a chinch output in order to prevent distortion or mismatch-
ing which might damage the appliance.
Note the values stated in the "Technical data".
Connect the outputs of your audio sig-
nal sources (CD, TUNER etc.) to the cor-
responding inputs of the amplifier.

Connecting loudspeaker outputs

Use 2-core cable to connect up the loudspeakers. Insulate the
exposed terminal connections. Make sure that none of the leads
can be damaged by sharp edges.
Only use loudspeakers that have a sufficient load capacity (see
"Technical data").
Connect the loudspeakers directly to the amplifier.
Do not use headset adapters or distribution boxes. If you are
unclear about any aspect please consult a specialist.
Make sure that all the loudspeakers are connected with the cor-
rect polarity, i.e. the plus and minus symbols match up.
Usually, connecting leads for loudspeaker cabinets are polarised:
Connect the left-hand chinch output of
the CD player to the white chinch input -
INPUT (9) (marked CD).
Connect the right-hand chinch output of
the CD player to the red chinch input -
INPUT (9) (marked CD).
Repeat the same procedure for the
other devices that you wish to connect.
Connecting the TAPE deck:
Connect the chinch outputs (usually
marked OUT or PLAY) as described
above to the chinch inputs - INPUT (9)
(in this case TAPE).
Connect the chinch inputs (usually mar-
ked IN or REC) to the chinch output -
REC OUT (10).
