Introduction
Dear Customer
By purchasing the plug-in power supply unit SNG 1000/24 or the SNG 1500/24,
you have acquired a state-of-the-art primary-switched power pack. The output
voltage can be adjusted in 6 steps from 6 up to 24 VDC. Miniature devices (e.g.
fans) up to a power consumption of max. 1 A (for SNG 1000/24) or max. 1.5 A (for
SNG 1500/24) can be connected and operated.
The switched-mode power supply unit is tested for safety according to DIN VDE
0805 (= EN 60950). Moreover, it is EMC-tested and consequently satisfies the
requirements of the applicable European and national directives. Conformity has
been proved; the appropriate documents (declaration) are kept at the manufactu-
rer's.
To make sure this state is maintained and to ensure safe operation, it is essential
that you - the user - adhere to these operating instructions!
Usage for the intended purpose:
• Connection and operation of extra-low voltage consumers with a service volta-
ge of 6 or 9 or 12 or 15 or 18 or 24 VDC. The power consumption of a connec-
ted consumer must not exceed 1 A (for SNG 1000/24) or 1.5 A (for SNG
1500/24). If these ratings are exceeded, the switched-mode power supply unit
will be overloaded and consequently be destroyed.
• The terminal polarity (+ or - inside) depends on the connection of one of the
enclosed eight (8) plugs to the output (connection)cable.
• The universal plug-in power supply unit is only approved for connection to 230
VAC, 50 Hz.
• Use in damp locations or outdoors or under adverse ambient conditions is not
admissible. Such adverse ambient conditions are:

Geachte klant,
Met de stekkernetvoeding SNG 1000/24 of de SNG 1500/24 heeft u een primair
geschakelde netvoeding volgens de laatste stand van de techniek aangeschaft.
De uitgangsspanning is instelbaar in 6 trappen van 6 tot 24 VDC. Op de SNG
1000/24 netvoeding kunnen kleine apparaten (bijv. ventilator) tot max 1 A
stroomverbruik en op de SNG 1500/24 apparaten met max. 1,5 A stroomverbruik
aangesloten worden.
De schakelnetvoeding is getest op veiligheid volgens DIN VDE 0805 (= EN
60950). Bovendien is het apparaat EMV-getest en voldoet aan de eisen van de
geldende Europese en nationale richtlijnen. De CE-conformiteit is bewezen; de
betreffende documenten bevinden zich bij de fabrikant.
Om dit zo te houden en gebruik zonder gevaar te garanderen, moet u zich als ge-
bruiker beslist aan deze gebruiksaanwijzing houden!
Gebruik waarvoor het apparaat bedoeld is
• Het aansluiten en laten werken van verbruikers met klein vermogen met een
voedingsspanning van 6 of 9 of 12 of 15 of 18 of 24 VDC. Het stroomverbruik
van de verbruiker mag niet groter zijn dan 1 A bei de SNG 100/24 resp. 1,5 A
bei de SNG 1500/24. Overschrijding ervan leidt tot overbelasting en daardoor
tot vernieling van de schakelnetvoeding.
• De aansluitpolariteit (+ of - binnen) richt zich naar de verbinding van de geko-
zen meegeleverde acht (8) stekkers met een uitgangs(aansluiting)kabel.
• De universele netvoeding is alleen voor een aansluiting op 230 Volt wissel-
spanning met 50 Hz toegelaten.
• Het gebruik in vochtige ruimtes of buiten resp. onder ongunstige omgevingsom-
standigheden is niet toegestaan. Ongunstige omgevingsomstandigheden zijn:
