• Power packs must be kept away from children!
• When used in industrial plants, the Provisions for the Prevention of Accidents of
the Association of Industrial Employers' Liability Insurance Associations for El-
ectrical Installations and Equipment must be complied with.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and do-it-yourself workshops, the operation
of power packs must be supervised by responsible, well-trained staff.
• Never put your power pack immediately into operation after having taken it
from a cold into a warm room. Under unfavourable conditions, the condensate
which might develop may destroy your unit. Allow the unit to adjust to room
temperature before switching on.
• When working with power packs, the operator must not wear metallic or con-
ductive jewellery, such as necklaces, bracelets, rings etc.
• Power packs are not approved for utilisation on human beings or animals.
• If the outputs of one or several power packs are series-connected, highly dan-
gerous voltages (> 35 VDC) are generated.
• Ventilation louvres of power packs must not be covered! The units are mainly
cooled by convection.
• Power packs and the consumers connected to them must not be operated
without supervision. Measures must be taken to protect and to safeguard the
connected consumers against the influences of power packs /e.g. overvolta-
ges, failure of the power pack) and the consumer-inherent influences and dan-
gers (e.g. inadmissibly high power consumption).
• In case of fault, power packs may emit voltages exceeding 50 VDC which ge-
nerate hazards, even if the output voltages indicated on the units are lower.
• Only tools expressly approved for work in „live" condition may be used to this
effect.

- En cas de fonctionnement prolongé sous une charge nomi-
nale (24 VA pour le modèle SNG 1000/24 et 39VA pour le mo-
dèle SNG 1500/24), la surface du boîtier devient très chaude.
Attention ! Risque de brûlure ! Veillez à la bonne aération du
bloc d'alimentation et ne le faites jamais fonctionner s'il est
partiellement ou entièrement recouvert afin d'éviter tout
dommage éventuel.
- Lors du raccordement d'un récepteur, assurez-vous absolu-
ment que celui-ci se trouve bien à l'arrêt. Dans le cas con-
traire, des étincelles pourraient se produire au niveau des
bornes de raccordement lors du branchement au bloc d'ali-
mentation, pouvant ainsi endommager les raccords, les
câbles connectées et/ou leurs bornes.
- Si l'adaptateur enfichable du bloc n'est pas utilisé, dé-
connectez-le du réseau.
