Preparing the Geberit electrofusion machine
ESG 3 for serial welding of Geberit
electrofusion sleeve couplings or Geberit
electrofusion tapes for anchor points
Prerequisites
• Pipes, fittings and welding joints are dry and free from dirt
• Pipes and fittings are prepared in accordance with the
installation instructions for Geberit electrofusion sleeve
couplings
• Pipe surfaces are prepared in accordance with the installation
instructions for Geberit electrofusion tape for anchor point
For serial welding, a maximum of three Geberit electrofusion
sleeve couplings or Geberit electrofusion tapes ≤ ø 63 mm
may be connected to one another.
In the case of serial welding of parts with different
dimensions, please refer to the table on the rear cover page
for the maximum number of parts that may be used.
