INTRODUCTION
Congratulations! You have just purchased the Alpine 7380M FM/MW/
LW Cassette deck the industry's state of the art. The 7380M features
Alpine's proprietary T-10 Il Tuner section with digital phase-locked loop
frequency synthesizer and an auto-reverse cassette deck.
The 7380M was designed for in-dash installation and for 12V DC
negative ground power systems. It houses an array of features such as
an illuminated computer-like control keyboard in its DIN size chassis. It
also includes Alpine's exclusive Quick Release Bracket (Q.R.B.) with its
reinforced connectors, that allows easy removal of the radio as an anti-
theft measure. Please read this owner's manual thoroughly to familiarize
yourself with all the features and operation of the 7380M.

Alpine's premier tuner — utilizes a number of innovations to ensure stable, noise-free
FM reception in both strong and weak signal areas.
@ QUICK RELEASE BRACKET (Q.R.B.)
Alpine's exclusive Q.R.B. design allows for easy removal of the 7380M, while still
maintaining memory backup. The 7380M may then be hidden elsewhere in the car or
carried with the owner for theft prevention. This bracket also provides for easy re-
installation of the unit.

The HLTAC tape head provides extended flat frequency response.
DOLBY* B NOISE REDUCTION
Increases the dynamic range of Dolby encoded tapes while reducing hiss, providing up
to a 10 dB improvement in noise reduction.
@ MUSIC SENSOR IN FAST FORWARD AND FAST BACKWARD
In FAST FORWARD, it automatically scans forward to the next song on a tape and
begins playback. In FAST BACKWARD, it scans backward to the beginning of the
current selection and begins playback.
