The DIP switch (6) on the controller (5) facilitates the regulation and control of the target and limit values for
temperatures. The default factory setting of the values upon delivery is as follows:
•
The target value of the control cabinet temperature is 35°C.
•
The maximum value of the control cabinet temperature is 50°C.
 Position 4 (7) on the DIP switch (6) controls the setting of the temperature unit.
Optional control °C to °F: OFF = °C / ON = °F.
Setting the temperature range on the DIP switch
Requirements
The cooling unit is without voltage.
-
- Wait For unloading phase of 5 minutes for the electric components. Open only afterwards device.
Procedure
▪ Dismantle the fan by loosening the four fixing screws (1), see Figure Dismantling fan.
▪ Disconnect all cables from the fan and remove the fan.
▪ Loosen and remove the upper screw (2) on the frame.
▪ Slightly loosen the lower screw (4) on the frame, but do not remove.
 Loosening and adjusting the lower screw enables easy access to the card cage.
▪ Carefully tilt the card cage (3) until the controller (5) becomes visible, see Figure Releasing card cage.
▪ Set the DIP switch (6) on the controller (5), see
 The settings of the DIP switch are adopted at the time of commissioning.

The new temperature range is set on the DIP switch.
