Calibration and standard measurement
Repeat the calibration with the White- and Working-
Standard every 3 to 6 months according to use.
For the normal day to day calibration use only the
Working-Standard.
The calibration is performed
in the same way as described
above. Please follow the displayed
instructions.

Standard measurement

With the measurement of standards reference colours are
created. These can be stored on the device or PC. When
you turn on the sph xs1 the last selected standard will be
automatically load.
Open the "Measure" window from
the top menu level.
Select "Scan standard" using the
52
keys.

The measurement is triggered
by pressing the "CENTER"
key and following instructions
or by pressing the probe head
downwards

The measured standard is
display in the selected colour
scale.
To display the results in diff erent colour scales,
press the Navigation keys
Which colour scales are available can be selected
in the "Settings" – "Colour systems" -
"Standard" menu [see 6.2 Colour systems].
To leave the window and return to the "Measure"
level, press the "LEFT"
To continue and use the standard, press the
"CENTER" key. Each standard can be assigned an
exclusive name.
