Language settings

In the same way as the date and time are set
choose "settings", select "system" and open the
"language" window.
The language set is marked
with a check box. To change,
move the cursor to required
language and press the
key.

Probe head handling

The repeatability i.e. precision of the results is
dependent on an ideal interface between the probe
head and the sample.
During the scanning period it is essential that the
probe head is not moved or tilted and is securely
placed on the sample. When possible the probe
opening should be covered. If not, to minimized
the eff ects of ambient light, switch on the stray
light compensation.
4.9.1 45°/0° Probe head handling
Place the probe head on the sample or a smaller sample
can be held against the probe head opening. The scan can
is triggered by slowly pushing this sleeve downwards or by
pressing the "ENTER"

The automatic probe head trigger can be switched off .
This is of advantageous when the probe head is to be
positioned before the measurement. When activated the
scan can be started using the "ENTER"
