Changing the mixed-water temperature sensor (13)
Dismantle as described in paragraph 1. Since the temperature is downline
of the shutoff valve at the mixed-water outlet, the water pipes do not
have to be shut off for replacement purposes but the unit does have to be
closed. Unscrew the temperature sensor (13) and replace it with a new
one. Hand-tighten (approx. 2 Nm).
Connect and fit the electronics box, batteries etc. as described in
paragraphs 8 to 11 in B Installation Instructions.
Setting
Changing the sensor may cause temperature deviations of 3°C. To adjust,
proceed as follows:
Set temperature display to 37°C and start the unit (press the ON button).
Wait until the temperature has been reached (display no longer flashes)
and also measure the mixed-water temperature with a thermometer for
approx. 20 seconds.
Now stop the unit and make a note of the temperature deviation up (+) or
down (-).
Then switch off the unit and press the
buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until there is a beep. The display now
shows the correction value of the old sensor (e.g. 5.5). Add the recorded
temperature deviation to the display.

and using the temperature buttons set the new correction value (new
correction value in the example 6.5°C).

when you have made the setting, press the OFF button. The correction
value is accepted and the unit performs a self-test (approx. 10 seconds).

Changing the electronics box (4)
Dismantle as described in paragraph 1. Replace the electronics box.
Connect and fit the electronics box, batteries etc. as described in
paragraphs 8 to 11 of B Installation Instructions.
Set as described in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of D Fitting spare parts. Settings
always have to be performed.
6.
Changing non-return valves (17) in the off-centre connection pieces
Dismantle as described in paragraph 1. Undo the 4 screws (24). Withdraw
the entire body from the off-centre connection pieces towards the front.
Remove securing clip (25) with a screwdriver, pull the non-return valve (17)
out of the supply pipe hole and replace.
Important: Make sure the direction of flow is correct.
Refit the securing clip. Replace the O-ring (28) as well. Fit the body back
on the spherical heads of the off-centre connections and hand-tighten
with screws (24) (2 Nm). Connect and fit the electronics box, batteries
etc. as described in paragraphs 8 to 11 of B Installation Instructions.
