13.1 Pairing the transmitter with the drone
1. Insert the battery into the drone as described in chapter "12.3 Inserting the battery into the drone".
2. Switch on the quadcopter by setting the switch on its bottom to "ON".
3. With the quadcopter switched on, place it on a horizontal surface.
4. Power on the remote controller.
The transmitter LED (7) flashes very quickly

when the transmitter is not connected to the
quadcopter.
5. Move the left joystick up (step 1 in the figure)
and then down (step 2 in the figure).
The quadcopter will automatically connect
Æ
to the remote control.
The transmitter LED (7) is now permanently
Æ
lit.
13.2 Calibrating the position sensors
Calibrate the position sensors.
Do this by moving both joysticks simultaneously
to the bottom right-hand position, as illustrated.
The quadcopter LED indicator will then flash
Æ
rapidly for about 3 seconds.
13.3 Flight operation
The quadcopter is now ready for use.
Press button (3) "Autonomous take-off and land-
ing" to launch the quadcopter.
To land, push the left joystick down until the
drone has landed. Then, hold the joystick down
for 3 to 4 seconds to switch off the motors.
You can also use button (3) for autonomous
landing of the quadcopter.
