Riding Safety
This kick bike is a riding toy intended for children
with the skill and coordination to steer, balance,
and stop the kick bike. This kick bike uses a
handlebar to steer like a tricycle, but it is a two-
wheeler so more similar to a bicycle. However,
this kick bike does not have the brake(s) of
a bicycle. The child controls the speed of the
kick bike by placing their feet on the ground.
Therefore, this kick bike should never be ridden in
a location, such as a slope or hill, that allows the
kick bike to move faster than walking speed.
As a parent, you are the best judge of your child's
development stage and the appropriateness
of this kick bike for their safe play. These are
especially important points:
• Check the kick bike before each ride. Make
sure the wheels, handlebar, and seat are
correctly attached.
• Always wear protective equipment when riding
the kick bike. This equipment includes an
approved bicycle helmet, shoes, gloves, and
other padding.
• Never ride this kick bike in traffic or at night.
• Never ride at a speed that is higher than that
which is easily controlled by placing the feet on
the ground.
• Read the owner's manual before your child
rides this kick bike.
