6) BASIC FUNCTIONS AND CONFIGURATION
6.1) INITIAL POWER-UP
The device can be powered directly by the 2-wire BUS or by a stabilised 12-32 VDC power supply (e.g. 53ABAUX).
When the device is switched on for the first time or after a factory reset, the language selection page will be displayed on the LCD.
Note: if no language is selected, English will be the automatic default language after 1 minute.
6.2) ANSWERING A CALL
When forwarding a call from an outdoor station, the internal monitor will start to ring and the screen shown below is displayed:
Which you can use to:
a) Answer an incoming call by pressing the button
b) During a call you can release the electric locks:
Release 1: press button
Release 2: press button
Release 3 (aux relay): press for 3 sec button
Five seconds after releasing an electric lock, the device automatically returns to the home page.
c) End a call by pressing the button
d) Change the call volume using buttons
e) During a call, pressing button
you can take a snapshot photo of the caller
f) During a call, pressing button
you can record a video; for this you need to install an SD card in the device.
Notes:
By default, the device automatically captures a snapshot when a call is received from an external location.
The recording time of a film is 15 seconds.
6.3) HOMEPAGE
The home page of the device is shown below. It contains a number of quick menus that can be accessed by tapping on them. The "Log" button on the main page includes a small number that indicates
how many calls are in the call log.
6.3.1) Log
The Log menu is used to save the information about calls that have reached the device.
By pressing on each individual call, you can view the snapshot photo taken during the first 3 seconds of the call.
Pressing the "Clear All" button deletes the call log.
The call log can store a maximum number of 200 calls.
6.3.2) Background
From the "Background" menu, you can select the background of the homepage of the indoor video intercom station.
Enter the menu, select the desired background from those displayed and press "Finish" to confirm the operation.
Pressing the "Cancel" button will end the operation and the device will automatically return to the homepage.
Pressing the "Reset" button will display the default image.
6.3.3) Call
The "Call" menu is used to make calls to other monitors in the same or different flats or to the gatehouse station.
INTERCOMMUNICATION CALLS: enter the number of the flat to be called (1-128) and press icon
CALLS TO PORTER: enter the number 200 (the number assigned by the porter cannot be changed) and press button
INTERCOM CALLS: press the "internal call" button to initiate a call to all internal stations in the flat;
all indoor stations will ring.
6.3.4) Voice message
This feature allows you to record a short message on the indoor station that can be played back at a later stage.
A number will appear on the homepage of the device to show how many messages are in the menu.
RECORDING A MESSAGE: press the record button on the left side of the screen to start recording and then record your message.
Press the button once more to end the recording. The maximum recording time is 30 seconds and the remaining time to record a message is displayed on the
lower part of the screen.
LISTENING TO A MESSAGE: press the "Play" button (green triangle) beside the message to play the message.
DELETING THE MESSAGE LIST: Pressing the "Delete all" button will delete the log.
Note: a maximum of 30 messages can be recorded.
6.3.5) Monitor
Pressing the "Monitor" button activates the interface to outdoor stations
MONITORING AND RELEASING ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKS: switch between the various outdoor stations (if more than one is installed on the system) to display their cameras. While
monitoring, electric locks can be released by pressing the corresponding release buttons.
SURVEILLANCE, PHOTO/VIDEO CAPTURE: In the course of camera surveillance, it is possible to acquire the following:
an image by pressing button
a video by pressing button
CALL: In the course of camera surveillance, communication to the outdoor station can be activated by pressing button
Notes:
Captured photos and videos are saved in the call log.
When the associated mobile APP remotely monitors an outdoor station, the main "MASTER" monitor enters cloud intercom status and cannot be used, and "SLAVE" monitors enter standby
status and are unable to monitor an outdoor station.
6.3.6) System settings
The "Settings" menu provides access to all system configuration parameters. The meanings of the various items in the menu are given below:
DISPLAY SETTINGS
Brightness: screen brightness;
Screensaver delay: time after which a screen lock is activated;
Screensaver duration: time after which the screen is switched off.
WARNING TONE
Ringer volume: ringer volume when a call comes in;
Button volume: volume of button sounds;
Button tone: sound emitted when a button is pressed;
Ringtone: ringtone played when a call comes in.
