Description:
Oventrop press fittings "Cofit PD-HT" and "Cofit PDK-HT"
designed not to seal fully before they are pressed for pipe
connections with PE-Xc plastic pipe "Copex HT" and for the
connection of Oventrop valves and controls.
Application:
The Oventrop press fittings "Cofit PD-HT" and "Cofit PDK-
HT" are suitable for potable water and heating installations.
Installation:
The press fittings have to be installed free from tension
and have to be kept free from tension during operation (il-
lustr. 1)
Cutting pipe to required length (illustr. 2)
Cut the plastic pipe "Copex HT" to the required length at a
right angle to the tubular axle with the help of an Oventrop
pipe cutter or pipe shears.
Deburring and calibrating (illustr. 3, 4)
Using the Oventrop universal tool, item no. 1569594, the pipe
end can be calibrated and the inner plastic layer can be
deburred at the same time.
Chose the calibrating and deburring mandrel suitable for the
pipe dimension, insert fully into the pipe whilst turning the tool
clockwise. Rotate the mandrel for at least a further half turn.
Remove the tool from the pipe and any shavings will be pulled
out automatically.

NOTICE
Check that the pipe end is clean and accurately deburred
Pushing the pipe onto the press fitting (illustr. 5)
Push the pipe under slight pressure onto the press fitting
"Cofit PD-HT" / "Cofit PDK-HT" as far as it will go. Check
through the viewer of the stainless steel casing.
Placing the press tool into position (illustr. 6)
Position the press bits integrated in the Oventrop press
machine at a right angle. The guiding elements encircle the
collar of the press fittings "Cofit PD-HT" / "Cofit PDK-HT".
Pressing (illustr. 7)
Carry out pressing. The press bits must be closed completely.

Please ensure that all standard leakage tests are carried out.
