This button should be pressed in when
playing chrome dioxide (CrO.) and metal
cassettes. This button should be released
when playing ferric oxide (Fe,O,) and fer-
richrome (FeCr) tapes.

is illuminated for 5 sec. in case of manual
station search when tuned exactly to 100
kHz.
